Cork powder is generated throughout the industrial cork process and originates from grinding, cutting and finishing operations. We can't say it's a waste, but a by-product, since it has many uses in cork manufacturing. The most popular industrial uses are colmating (sealing process for cork stoppers, balls, etc) and being used as energy source.

The cork dust/flower we sell is a by-product of cork transformation at our workshop BYSCA, where we make cork disks and cork balls.

There are many different uses for this product:
- fishing pop ups or wafters, you must add cork dust to hook bait or base mixes.
- gardening: helps soil to remain loose (aerated) and moist.
- forming and shaping: mix it with a binder (it can be painted)
- modelling, dioramas, scenography: great alternative ground, and to coverings made of plastic and resin.
